In Huntsville Police news, on the day shift Tuesday police investigated two cases of forgery. One case in the 1300 block of 11th Street involved a known suspect forging a check, and in the other, in the 700 block of FM 2821, a known suspect forged a government document.

On Tuesday’s night shift, in a domestic incident in the 300 block of Julia Avenue, two known suspects assaulted a victim which resulted in minor injuries.

On the day shift Wednesday in a case of criminal mischief, property was damaged in the 2900 block of Angier Road. A building was burglarized in the 1200 block of Josey. Later, at the same address on Josey, a residential burglary was reported. A terroristic threat was investigated in the 1200 block of Avenue M.

On Wednesday’s night shift, a residential burglary was investigated in the 2300 block of N 1/2. In the 1700 block of 11th Street, a 26-year-old man was arrested for theft, possession of marijuana, and interfering with public duties. In the 200 block of Highway 190, a 39-year-old man was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm.
