In Huntsville Police news, on the day shift last Friday a burglary was investigated in the 1300 block of Mesquite.

On Friday’s night shift, in a case of criminal mischief in the 1100 block of Sycamore Avenue a known suspect intentionally damaged someone’s vehicle. In the 600 block of Highway 30, an unknown suspect entered a trailer and stole property. A vehicle burglary was reported in the 1200 block of 20th Street– someone broke into a vehicle and stole two purses. In the 2400 block of Lake Road, a known suspect unlawfully restrained someone.

On Saturday’s day shift, marijuana plants were found at White Circle and Estill. A purse and wallet were fond in the 1000 block of Cherry Hlls Drive. A vehicle burglary was investigated in the 2400 block of Lake Road. Police responded to an aggravated assault in the 600 block of Hayman Street–known suspects assaulted others and displayed a firearm during the assault.

On Saturday’s night shift, in the 1000 block of 8th Street a 25-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

On the day shift Sunday, a residential burglary was reported in the 500 block of Bowers Boulevard.
