In Huntsville Police news, on Friday’s night shift a person was assaulted by a known suspect on Howard Circle. A 27-year-old man was arrested in the 2700 block of Angier road for delivery of a controlled substance. In the 2900 block of Angier Road, a 48-year-old man was arrested for possesion of a controlled substance.

On the day shift Saturday, a 34-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 1500 block of 7th Street.

On the night shift Saturday, a bicycle was found in the 700 block of Cline. Two vehicle burglaries were reported–one in the 200 block of I-45 South and another in the 1200 block of Avenue J. In the 1500 block of 11th Street, a known suspect assaulted two people. In a case of criminal mischief, a known suspect cut the tires of a vehicle in the 200 block of University Avenue. In the 1100 block of Sam Houston Avenue, a 26-year-old man was arrested for theft. In the 200 block of University Drive, a 17-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana.

On the day shift Sunday, a person was assaulted by a known suspect in the 2800 block of Lake Road. Two thefts were reported–one in the 3000 block of State Highway 30 and another in the 3100 block of Montgomery Road.
