In Huntsville Police news, on Friday’s day shift three thefts were reported–in the 1700 block of 11th Street an unknown suspect used another’s personal information to pass checks; in the 200 block of Royal Oaks someone stole a trailer and 4-wheeler; and in the 400 block of Avenue H a theft was reported. A residential burglary was investigated in the 500 block of Bowers Boulevard. In the 200 block of I-45 South, a 47-year-old woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a dangerous drug.
On the night shift Friday in the 5000 block of Sam Houston Avenue, a shotgun of undetermined ownership was recovered.
On Saturday’s day shift, a known suspect assaulted a victim in the 100 block of I-45 South. Police were called to an “unruly person on the scene” in the 100 block of I-45 South–a 42-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication.
On the night shift Saturday, a known suspect sexually assaulted a juvenile in the 1900 block of Sam Houston Avenue. Police were called to a residence in the 2000 block of Sycamore Avenue, where a boyfriend had touched his girlfriend in an offensive manner. During a domestic call, a 22-year-old man was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and interfering with an emergency call in the 600 block of I-45 South.
On Sunday’s day shift in a case of aggravated assault, a known suspect threatened a victim with a deadly weapon in the 100 block of Sara Lane.
