In Huntsville Police news, on last Friday’s night shift police investigated the unauthorized use of a vehicle in the 3200 block of Elks Drive. At the corner of Avenue G and 8th Street a 22-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for online solicitation of a minor. In the 700 block of FM 2821 West, a 32-year-old man was arrested on an aggravated sexual assault of a child warrant.

On Saturday’s night shift, in a case of aggravated assault in the 1400 block of Sycamore Avenue a known suspect stabbed a victim. In a case of criminal mischief, in the 200 block of Gail Lane an unknown suspect damaged the front door of a residence. Several arrests were made in the 400 block of 14th Street–a 25-year-old man was arrested for interfering with public duties, resisting arrest, and public intoxication; a 35-year-old man was arrested for interfering with public duties; a known juvenile was arrested for interfering with public duties; and a 23-year-old man was arrested for failure to identify.

On the night shift Sunday in the 600 block of State Highway 75 North, in a case of aggravated assault in family violence, a known suspect displayed a knife and threatened the life of his girlfriend. And, numerous items of drug paraphernalia were located in a residence in the 100 block of Yegua Circle.
