In Huntsville Police news, on the day shift Tuesday a commercial burglary was investigated in the 1000 block of MLK, Jr. Boulevard.  A case of forgery was investigated in the 1400 block of Green Briar where a will was reported to have been forged. Police investigated a call about arson in the 2900 block of Old Houston Road where an unknown suspect had set a chair on fire.

On Tuesday’s night shift, a vehicle burglary was reported in the 1500 block of 11th Street. With an original address listed as the 1100 block of Pine Street, a 25-year-old man was arrested for evading with a vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The pursuit was stopped due to weather . The suspect crashed in San Jacinto County and was detained by the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office. And, in the 3000 block of State Highway 30, a 33-year-old man was arrested for retaliation.
