In Huntsville Police news, on Friday’s night shift police were called to the 2800 block of Sam Houston Avenue to investigate a case where a known suspect had forged the complainant’s checks.

On Saturday’s day shift, the burglary of a business in the 400 block of Smith Hill Road was reported. A theft was reported in the 2800 block of Sam Houston Avenue.

On the night shift Saturday, a bicycle was found in the 1300 block of 7th Street and taken to the police station. A 39-year-old man was arrested in the 600 block of Avenue M for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

On Sunday’s day shift a 37-year-old Montgomery County man, Marcus Trevino, was arrested at Josey Street and Avenue M for two counts of online solicitation of a minor.

On the night shift Sunday, a wallet was located in the 800 block of Cline Street and taken to the police station. In the 1300 block of Sam Houston Avenue, marijuana was found and taken to the PD. Later in the 1300 block of Sam Houston Avenue, an 18-year-old man was arrested for retaliation. In the 300 block of Old Houston Road, a 28-year-old man was arrestd for criminal trespass.
