In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past couple of days:
On Saturday, a known suspect assaulted a family member in the 700 block of Avenue J. Police investigated a stalking case in the 200 block of Highway 75 North.
On Sunday in a case reported in the 2900 block of Mimosa Lane, a possibly known suspect used a victim’s credit card without permission. A known suspect assaulted a family member in the 700 block of State Highway 19.
On Monday, two thefts were reported—one in the 1500 block of Winwood where someone removed tools from a wrecker, and the other in the 100 block of Sara Lane where two bicycles were stolen. A suspicious event involving electronic communication was investigated in the 1000 block of 8th Street. In the 1600 block of State Highway 30 East, a known suspect assaulted a victim and choked them. In the 600 block of Hayman Street, Brandon Helm was arrested for Assault in Family Violence. In the 1000 block of MLK, Issaih Morgan was arrested for a stalking warrant. In the 1000 block of MLK, Jacobi Luke was arrested for possession of marijuana, and Kenis Nixon was arrested for failure to I-D as a fugitive and a possession of marijuana warrant.
