Looking over police news for the past several days, on the day shift last Friday police were called to the 1500 block of 11th Street to a sexual assault by a known suspect. An assault was investigated in the 1200 block of Fish Hatchery Road.

On the night shift Friday, marijuana was found in the 2700 block of Angier road and taken to the PD.

On Saturday’s day shift, police responded to a call from Gospel Hill road where a known suspect had shown a weapon during an assault. In the 600 block of I-45 South, a known suspect stole money from the complainant.

On Sunday’s day shift, a known suspect was reported to have committed sexual assault in the 300 block of Sam Houston Avenue. A 19-year-old man was arrested at the intersection of Old Madisonville road and 10th Street for possession of a controlled substance.

On Monday’s day shift, a 23-year-old woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance at the intersection of Royal Oaks and Crosstimbers.

On the night shift Monday, a 52-year-old man was arrested at 14th Street & University for possession of a controlled substance.
