In Huntsville Police news, on the day shift last Friday a possibly known person stole a vehicle on I-45–several firearms were in the vehicle when it was stolen. Two vehicle burglaries were reported–one in the 2500 block of Pine Shadows Drive and the other in the 100 block of Memorial Hospital Drive.

On Friday’s night shift, a known person assaulted a victim with a deadly weapon in a case of family violence in the 2800 block of Lake Road. A 17-year-old man was arrested in the 1300 block of Avenue E for burglary of a residence.

On the day shift Saturday, in the 1200 block of Avenue J a known person forged a prescription. A residential burglary was reported in the 1600 block of Pine Street. 32-year-old Terrance Mack was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 100 block of State Highway 30 East. Nineteen-year-old Jeremiah Tennon was arrested in the 100 block of Augusta Drive for burglary of a habitation and burglary of a vehicle.

On Sunday’s day shift, a residential burglary was investigated in the 7100 block of State Highway 75 South.

On the night shift sunday, two cases of drivers’ vehicles striking another vehicle and fleeing the scene were reported–one at 15th Street and Avenue O and another at I-45 and State Highway 30.
