In Huntsville Police news, on the day shif Saturday police were called to the 1200 block of Sycamore Avenue where two roomates were involved in a dispute. At the same address, 54-year-old Arthur Lee Miller was arrested for assault/threat in family violence. In the 2500 block of Pine Shadows Drive, two people allegedly assaulted each other. At the same address several hours later, a possibly known suspect was reported to have damaged a vehicle. In the 2400 block of Montgomery Road, 25-year-old La’Markus Kentrelle Hill was arrested for assault and impeding breathing in family violence.

On the night shift Saturday, a vehicle burglary was investigated in the 200 block of I-45 South. In the 600 block of I-45 South, a known suspect assaulted a victim with a deadly weapon.

On the day shift Sunday, on Catechis Road a known suspect assaulted a victim causing serious injury.

On Sunday’s night shift, in the 800 block of Ryans Ferry Road an unknown suspect forced entry into a residence and stole items. In a report given at the police headquarters, a known suspect had reportedly sexually assaulted a child. CID and Victim’s Assistance responded to investigate.
