In Huntsville Police news, on the night shift Friday a residential burglary was investigated in the 2200 block of Bobby K Marks Drive. Two vehicle burglaries were reported–one in the 2600 block of El Toro and another in the 2700 block of 11th Street. A 19-year-old man was arrested at Bearkat Boulevard and Sam Houston for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. At the same location, another 19-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana and dangerous drugs.

Several arrests were made in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road Friday night. A eighteen-year-old man was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in family violence. At the same address a 21-year-old man was arrested for assault to impede breathing in family violence and on an outstanding warrant. Also at the Montgomery Road location, a 25-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

On Saturday’s day shift, an assult was investigated in the 1000 block of Avenue J.

On the night shift Saturday, a residential burglary was reported in the 2600 block of El Toro. An assault was investigated in the 800 block of Boettcher’s Mill.

On the day shift Monday, in the 1500 block of Sam Houston two known suspects passed forged checks. Two vehicles were reported stolen–one in the 800 block of I-45 North and the other in the 600 block of I-45 South.
