In Huntsville Police news, over the past several days:
Last Sunday, a known suspect was reported to have damaged vehicles in the 2500 block of Lake Road. In the 1700 block of 11th Street, Luis Miguel Rodriguez was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, Driving Without a License with previous conviction, and possession of drug paraphernalia. In the 300 block of 16th Street, Marti Antonio Padilla Macias was arrested for fleeing, failure to ID, giving false information and traffic violations. In the 600 block of I-45 South, Tamara Cox was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
On Monday, several thefts were reported—in the 1800 block of Normal Park Drive, the 600 block of I-45 South, the 200 block of I-45 South, and the 4000 block of Old Colony. A weapon was located in the 700 block of State Highway 75 North. A possibly known suspect assaulted a victim in the 1400 block of Sam Houston Avenue. In a case of criminal mischief, property was damaged in the 300 block of Boettcher Mill Road.
On Tuesday in the 300 block of Sara Lane, an unknown driver of a vehicle struck another vehicle and fled. In the 3300 block of Winter Way, a known suspect assaulted a victim. An aggravated assault was investigated in the 300 block of Rigsby Road. Two thefts were reported—one in the 1700 block of 11th Street and the other in the 1000 block of MLK. A case of criminal trespass was investigated in the 300 block of Del Monte.
