Premium Sale Beats Last Year’s Total

Thursday night’s Premium Sale at the Walker County Fair brought in $427,850 dollars, beating last year’s total of $371,850 dollars.

Jared Lampson’s grand champion steer drew the most bucks at $20,000 dollars. Dave Morvant bought Lampson’s steer, as well as Kendyll Williams reserve champion steer for $12,000 dollars.

Lampson, a Huntsville High School senior, said he will put his money toward his future move to attend UT in Austin.
