A second arrest has been made in connection with what is under consideration as the gang-involved homicide of 16-year-old Josael Guevera. Guevera was found dead last month in the Sam Houston National Forest.
Thursday, the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force arrested 17-year-old Jose Leonel Bonilla-Romero in Houston.
On September 23rd, the day Guevera’s body was found, police arrested 22-year-old Cristian Zamora in connection with the murder.
Both Zamora and Bonilla-Romero were booked into the Walker County Jail. Both face $1 million bond for each of three charges.
