Executive Director of SHSU’s Global Center for Journalism and Democracy, Kelli Arena, says the Center is “teaming up with a Beirut-based organization called the Samir Kassir Eyes to host a conference focusing on the coverage of international justice . . . .”
Arena said they are bringing people from CNN, various human rights organizations, defense lawyers, photojournalists, media experts, and SHSU faculty together for the conference.
