Sam Houston State University’s department of theatre will explore the idea of universal human experience through the lives of childhood sweethearts when it presents “Our Town,” Wednesday, February 27th, through Saturday, March 2nd.
Show times will be at 8 PM each day, with a 2 PM Saturday matinee in the University Theatre Center’s Erica Starr Theatre.
Thornton Wilder’s most frequently performed play, “Our Town,” appeared on Broadway in 1938 to wide acclaim and won the Pulitzer Prize.
“Our Town” stars Teresa Zimmermann, as Emily, and Nathan Wilson, as George.
Tickets are $12 for general admission and $10 for SHSU students and senior citizens. Group rates are available for $8.
Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted.
