Stakeholder Committee Reviews Case Study on Huntsville’s Quality of Life

Published on April 24, 2013 by Larry Crippen

Tuesday, the Stakeholder Committee for Huntsville looked over the results of a case study designed to come up with suggestions to improve Huntsville’s quality of life.

Over the past several months, the group put together by the Houston-Galvestion Area Council, came up with a list of 10 projects to look at in the light of Huntsville’s local issues.

Some of the projects foremost on the list include promoting excellence in K-12 schools, putting together a good marketing campaign, reviewing development regulations and enforcing them, and constructing a corridor that links SHSU and downtown.

The committee will hold off on its marketing campaign until the school bond election is over.
