Storm Causes Damage in Walker County

Published on May 10, 2013 by Larry Crippen

A big storm and a lot of rain came through Walker County last night.

Walker County Dispatch reported to us early this morning that Davis Road off of State Highway 30 was closed last night.

There were quite a few trees reported down because of the storm. There were reports of damage and loss of power in the Trinity area. Trinity Independent School District Secretary to the Superintendent, Debbie Ogden, tells us that there will be no school at all Trinity campuses as power is out.

Walker County Dispatch said if anyone does find any more trees down, to give them a call at 435-2400.
