At Tuesday’s City Council session, Huntsville’s Public Works Director Carol Reed filled councilmembers in on a request from the development director for the Tenaska power organization in Grimes County near Shiro . . . .
She explained this plant would operate only during peaks in demand. Tenaska would be sending an initial letter so the City could respond. This would be a separate contract for water from the one in force now–newly negotiated. Water would come from the TRA plant and not affect Huntsville’s local supplying of water. Councilmembers await hearing from Tenaska.
