Tree Sale Saturday

This weekend Walker County Proud Communities will be selling trees donated by the Texas Forest Service. They’ll have 2,500 hardwood and softwood trees in quantities and varieties that may be limited. Pecan trees are $2 dollars with a limit of five. Your asked to donate $1 dollar per tree. Bluebonnet seeds are $1 dollar a package. Wood chips are $1 dollar per bag. You get 1 bag free with 5 trees. It all happens tomorrow, Saturday, from 8 AM to 12 Noon at the Walker County Storm Shelter.
