Update on Local Political Activity

Published on September 16, 2013 by Larry Crippen

Four Huntsville City Council candidates for the upcoming November 5th election–Andy Brauninger, Rachel Willeford, Tish Humphrey, and Kendall Scudder–along with unopposed Mayor Mac Woodward showed up Saturday for a candidate forum organized by the Sam Houston Tea Party at the Walker Education Center. How to develop the local economy was the main topic of discussion among the candidates.

The Republican Party of Walker County and the Walker County Republican Women will hold a joint meeting tonight at the Huntsville Public Library Community Room beginning at 6. State Representative John Otto and State Senator Charles Schwertner will give a recap of Texas’ 83rd Legislative session. This is an open meeting and all are welcome to attend.
