A burglary ring has been busted by Walker And Montgomery County law enforcement agencies. More than $100,000 dollars in stolen property has been recovered.

Sheriff Clint McRae says that Bryan McGee from Hull was arrested December 12th on three counts of burglary of a habitation along with three counts of burglary of a building that occurred in the New Waverly area the second through the eighth of December.

Officers believe McGee was stealing the items to support a methamphetamine habit.

Additionally, in the investigation of storage buildings in Montgomery County owned by 33-year-old William Merek III from Willis, two search warrants were utilized. Officers arrested Merek for felony theft and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail.
