Three out of four West, Texas schools were rendered unusable in Wednesday’s fertilizer plant explosion there.

Monday, however, about 800 students went back to the classroom through the help of school districts in the area.

Region 12 area superintendents got together and provided a vacant building 10 minutes away.

Intermediate students went to the local elementary school which had trailer classrooms available in the back.
