The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory which is in effect from 9 until 6 this evening. Southerly winds are forecast at 20 to 30 MPH.
These winds could make driving and boating more difficult and potentially dangerous.
There is a Fire Weather Watch in effect for Tuesday.
A cold front will move through the region early Tuesday morning and usher in a dry and breezy air mass. This watch will likely be uprgraded to Red Flag Warnings for portions of the area.
