Wounded Warriors Banquet Keynote Speaker Chosen

The keynote speaker for the Wounded Warriors Banquet in Huntsville on January 17th has been announced.  He is 29-year-Army-veteran, Purple Heart recipient, and veterans advocate Colonel David W. Sutherland.

Col. Sutherland, who has served in two Iraqi wars and worked with countless veterans organizations, will talk about his experiences at this month’s banquet at the Walker County Fairgrounds.  Also expected to attend are former NFL Running Back and Hall of Famer Earl Campbell and TV and movie star Chuck Norris.

Tickets are $50 dollars and include a rib-eye steak dinner. A reserved table of six is $300 dollars.  There will also be a live and silent auction featured.  Tickets are available at the HEARTS Veterans Museum and Walker County Hardware.  If you wish to donate auction items or reserve tickets, call 295-5959.
