Wynne Home Christmas Activities

Published on December 06, 2013 by Larry Crippen

The Wynne Home is involved in several actitives in Huntsville this weekend.

Today there is a reception for all the people who entered the “Gingerbread House Contest” and that’ll be on display. People will be able to make Christmas ornaments, and there’ll be refreshments. The hours are 5 PM to 7 PM.

Saturday, they’re open from 10 to 2, and then they open again at 4 o’clock for “No-foolin’ String band.” They play from 4 to 6 and 7 to 9. From 6 to 7 they’ll have chicken n’ dumplings for $8. The Chrismas parade is that night, and people will be invited up on the porch to have cider.

There’s more on Sunday. Cultural Services Coordinator Linda Pease tells us about the “Historic Homes Tour . . . .”
