Agreement with new Kroger Approved by Councilmembers This Week

Published on March 06, 2014 by Larry Crippen

At this week’s City Council session, councilmembers considered a proposal that would let City Manager Matt Benoit approve an agreement with a new Kroger that waives all permit and inspection fees. This is an in-kind cost to the City of up to $75,000.

Debate was sparked by the issue.

For example, Ward #4 Councilmember Joe Rodriguez expressed . . . .

KROGER#1-3-5-14

Position #2 councilmember Lydia Montgomery passed along her opinion . . . .

KROGER#2-3-5-14

Councilmembers passed the agreement by a vote of 5 to 3.
