Assistant Fire Chief John Hobbs Suggests Property Owners Prep for Any Future Wildfire

With the summer and wildfire season ahead, Huntsville Assistant Fire Chief John Hobbs says now is the time to start getting rid of all those possible fire fuels in your yard . . . .

Hobbs said,”If you’re in the city limits of Huntsville you have to get a burning permit. It doesn’t cost anything. It’s good for 60 days, and you’re allowed to burn brush and leaves from that property only.”
