The City of Huntsville Tourism Department is pleased to announce a special addition to their May 6th Hotel Occupancy Tax workshop. Justin Bragiel, General Counsel for the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association, will join the group of speakers providing a full day of Tourism and marketing presentations.
The event will be held at the Katy and E. Don Walker Education Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6th.
Executive director for the Texas Forest Trail, Marty Prince, will make a presentation on the Texas Friendly Customer Service Training. Each participant will receive a certificate of completion. Also included in the workshop is Luncheon speaker Dave Lieber, the “Yankee Cowboy,” who will be speaking on building your event or business through storytelling. Mr. Lieber will also remain for the afternoon session.
The day will end with an overview of economic development projects presented by Aron Kulhavy, Director of Community and Economic Development, and a presentation from Bragiel on how to spend HOT Tax.
