Published on May 13, 2014 by Larry Crippen

In Commissioners Court Monday morning, Purchasing Agent Mike Williford and Communications Director Les Metzler proposed saving the County money by moving forward and disconnecting some landline circuits.

Williford said that they have a number of the circuits that had been used for radio communication for a number of years, and he termed them now to be “obsolete . . . .”

Commissioners approved the money-saving action.
