Commissioners’ Court Meets

Walker County Commissioners meet this morning at nine at the courthouse.

On today’s “Statutory Agenda,” Assistant District Attorney Quentin Russell will discuss approval of a resolution for capital trial reimbursement.

County Purchasing Agent Mike Williford will discuss possible approval of bids for the D-A’s bullet-proof wall, the disposition of four 2006 salvaged Crown Victoria’s from the Sheriff’s Office, and the purchase of four chest compression systems for EMS to be paid from budgeted funds.

County Auditor Patricia Allen will discuss payment in the amount of $702,886 from budgeted funds to Sedalco Incorporated for jail construction, $16,000 to County Jail architect company Burns Architecture, and $7,389 to the U-S Department of Transportation–Federal Highway Administration–for the costs on the Stubblefield Lake Road Bridge Project.

Administrative Assistant Sherri Pegoda will discuss the Employee Accident/Injury Report for 2013.
