Commissioners’ Court Meets Today

Walker County Commissioners will meet this morning at nine at the courthouse.

They will receive monthly revenue reports for various County departments.

Walker County Historical Commission member Lois Blake will discuss the possible approval of additional office space in the annex for the Commission organization.

Administrative Assistant Sherri Pegoda will talk about approval of HGAC general contract provisions for juvenile services.

Treasurer Sharon Duke will discuss recognition of the Kick-off for the Healthy County Sonic Boom challenge and Health Risk Assessment for spring, and other recognitions.

County Auditor Patricia Allen will discuss approval of participation in the Texas Comptroller Leadership Circle Program and discuss criteria for each designation and consider the Bond Election Pledge to post on the County website as part of participation.

Commissioner Tim Paulsel will seek approval of New Waverly High School using the Storm Shelter at no cost.

And, commissioners will look at authorizing the creation of a County Energy Transportation Reinvestment Zone and related issues.
