“Fizz, Boom, Read” At Library Tomorrow

Published on July 14, 2014 by Larry Crippen

As part of the science-themed summer reading program “Fizz, Boom, Read,” the Huntsville Public Library will offer a Kid’s Science Series program for junior scientists aged 5 to 12 on various Tuesdays at 3 PM. On Tuesday July 15th at 3 PM in the Community Room, kids will explore the scientific principles of density, mass, and volume.  Children will build six layer density towers out of household liquids, investigating the science behind why different things float.  Supplies will be provided, and the program is free and open to the public.
