Former ATF undercover agent Jay Dobyns spoke at SHSU’s Criminal Justice Center’s Killinger Auditorium Tuesday. He had been working as an undercover agent with the Hell’s Angels biker gang for two years when his true identity was exposed.
His life, as well as those of his wife and children, were threatened as he was put on a hit list that was passed around the prison system soliciting groups like the Aryan Brotherhood and the MS-13 gang.
We asked Mr. Dobyns about how his identity was given away . . . .
Dobyns says he was turned on by the same agency he served. As certain operational aspects of the ATF are being investigated today, issues involving the same individuals were involved in his case. . . .
Closing arguments on his $22 million lawsuit against the Department of Justice for breach of contract were heard on February 18th.
