Tuesday, the HISD Board of Trustees met for a regular session. One of the district issues they focused on was a Request for Qualifications, or RFQ, for an architectural company to work alongside the district in coming up with ideas for a possible bond.
Superintendent Dr. Steve Johnson told Trustees, “You asked the administration to begin to look at the RFQ process for architects, and we have put that together and we have the timeline for that . . . .”
Dr. Johnson said, “Somewhere between the 28th and the 31st, give or take a day or two in that, there’ll be some type of interview structure for the trustees to look at the finalists. And, then hopefully then by our August board meeting then we will be able to make approval of that.”
