Home Invasion Suspects Plead Guilty

Twenty-three-year-old Rendrick Lionel Taylor from Houston pled guilty to two counts of aggravated robbery this week for two local home invasion robberies following an agreement made with the Walker County District Attorney’s Office. He will be serving two 35-year prison sentences concurrently.

In connection with the home invasions, 37-year-old Darrick Edward Ross of Huntsville pled guilty to two counts of aggravated robbery Tuesday. Acting District Judge Jerry Sandel will decide his punishment at a later date following a pre-sentence investigation.

Thirty-seven-year-old Kristy Lynn Schmidt from Houston pled guilty to burglary for her part in a Montgomery County break-in. As part of a plea agreement, her punishment will be decided following a pre-sentence investigation.
