Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarships

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has given out more than $350 million in scholarships and other education programs in Texas.

Texas Department of Agriculture Administrator Rick Roads tells us, “Currently over 2,000 students are enrolled at more than a hundred Texas colleges and universities thanks to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s commitment to higher education.” He said, “Over 600 scholarships are up for grab at the Houston Rodeo, and only two require students to either show an animal or participate as an exhibitor . . . .”
