Houston Symphony to Perform at SHSU

On March 18th, the Houston Symphony will perform a community concert at Sam Houston State University.

“The Four Seasons,” a famous Vivaldi composition, will be performed with Concertmaster Frank Huang. Huang will be both conductor and soloist for the four violin concertos. The program will also feature Tchaikovsky’s romantic “Serenade for Strings.”

The concert is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. on March 18th at the James and Nancy Gaertner Performing Arts Center, 1900 Ave. I. Tickets are $30-35 and can be purchased online at www.shsu.edu/boxoffice.
