The Huntsville Aquatic Center will be open to the public Monday, May 26th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the Memorial Day holiday.
According to Jay Miller, Aquatic Center Manager, access will be completely free of charge for both children and adults.
Miller said, they “are all looking forward to another summer of swimming, water sports and family fun.” Miller said. “To get the season started off right, we’re opening up for Memorial Day, when we’re hoping local families will use the day off work and school to come enjoy our beautiful facility.”
Miller said that following Memorial Day, the facility would be closed until June 7th, the official opening date for 2014.
From June 7 through August 23, the Aquatic Center will be open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday through Sunday, with the exception of Saturday, when they’ll open up at 10 a.m. Admission will be free for children two and under, $2.50 for ages three to 11, and $4 for those 12 and up.
