Published on April 01, 2014 by Larry Crippen

The Huntsville City Council will meet this evening at six at City Hall.

Prior to the meeting at 5:30, councilmembers will meet in a workshop to hold a discussion on monument entry and a way-finding signage consultant.

Tonight’s “Statutory Agenda” includes a first-reading of an ordinance revising the City’s Water Conservation and Drought Contingency Plan, possible action to adopt a resolution to amend the 2013-14 budget and Capital Improvement Projects budget for the installation of speed tables on River Oaks Drive and possible action on a presentation by Boyd London, Managing Director of First Southwest, of the City of Huntsville debt schedules and upcoming debt retirement.

Also tonight, the council may possibly take action on Code Enforcement and neighborhood improvement policies and procedures. And, City Manager Matt Benoit may provide updates on various City activities.
