Injured Baby in Critical but Stable Condition

Published on April 23, 2014 by Larry Crippen

Tuesday, that 2-month-old baby who was found unreponsive at a residence on Elks Drive in Huntsville last week was reported to be in stable but critical condition.

The child is under treatment in the pediatric intensive care unit at Houston’s Texas Children’s Hospital. HPD says the child’s chances of survival from brain and internal injuries have increased . She remains, however, “in pretty bad shape.”

Twenty-three-year-old Brent Raynard Davison, the baby’s father, remains in custody at the Walker County Jail. He is charged with injury to a child with intent to cause serious bodily injury. His bail is set at half-a-million dollars.
