Navasota Inmates Suing TDCJ

In a story out of Navasota, four inmates at the Wallace Pack Unit there have filed suit in federal court against TDCJ, Warden Roberto Herrera and TDCJ Executive Director Brad Livingston.

The lawsuit claims TDCJ is subjecting disabled, elderly and sick inmates to “dangerously hot temperatures.” They claim temperatures often exceed 100 degrees. Their request is that temperatures inside the unit be kept at 88-degrees or below.
