In Huntsville Police news, on the night shift Friday police were called to the 6000 block of Highway 75 South where a known suspect interfered with child custody. In the 2200 block of Bobby K Marks, a known suspect committed assault causing minor injuries.

On Sunday’s day shift, in the 1400 block of Nottingham 26-year-old Rickey Riles was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. In the 500 block of 13th Street, 29-year-old Joshua Ray was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and DWI.

On the night shift Sunday, police were dispatched to fight-in-progress in the 100 block of Kyle Drive–the victim was assaulted with a weapon by an unknown suspect.

On the day shift Monday, a possibly known suspect stole a firearm in the 1500 block of Dogwood Drive. On Smith Hill Road, a unknown suspect stole an ATV. In the 100 block of Kyle Drive, possibly known suspects threatened a victim with a deadly weapon.

On Monday’s night shift, a vehicle burglary was investigated in the 200 block of Highway 75 North. In the 200 block of Highway 75 North, 41-year-old Paul Kinser was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in family violence.

On Tuesday’s day shift, 48-year-old Willie Reed was arrested on a burglary warrant in the 500 block of 11th Street. At 13th & Sycamore, 43-year-old Shawn Ennis and 30-year-old Rachael Thompson were arrested on forgery warrants. In the 1300 block of Windsor, 30-year-old Robert Hagen was arrested for criminal trespass of a habitation.
