Republican Primary Candidate Forum Held Tuesday

Last night at the Walker Education Center, Republican Primary candidates presented their platforms and answered question submitted by local citizens. The moderator was Gerald Skidmore.

Incumbent Tim Paulsel, Jimmy Henry and Frank Novark are running for Precinct #4 Commissioner

State Representative Otto and Opponent Terry Holcomb are vying for the State Representative post.

Candidates for 278th District Judge are Hal Ridley and Thomas Leeper.

Walker County Treasurer candidates include Martha Williams Cook and Amy Buckner-Klawinsky.

Justice of the Peace Precinct #3 candidates include incumbent Mark Holt, Troy Allen and Everett Harrell.

Running for Justice of the Peace Precinct #4 are Stephen Cole and Sandy Brown Glisson.

Early voting for the primary election is slated for Feb. 18th to 28th at the Walker County Annex. General election day is Tuesday, March 4th.
