Rock Thrown Through Cavenders Front Door

Published on July 18, 2014 by Larry Crippen

Around three Thursday morning, HPD answered an alarm at Cavender’s Boot City on 11th Street. Arriving on the scene, officers found a rock had been thrown through one of the front glass doors.

There was nothing reported stolen during the break-in. However, police believe an entry was made into the building because the wrong code had been entered to turn off the store’s alarm.

Estimated damage to the building is $300. The Huntsville Police are investigating the burglary.

If you have information regarding this crime, call the HPD at 291-5480 or Crime Stoppers at 294-9494.
