Down in Spring late last night a gunman killed six people, four of them children, in what appears to be the result of a domestic dispute.
According to a report from Harris County Constable Ron Hickman, victims of the shooting ranged from 4 to 39-years-old. Early reports say two of the victims were the adopted children of the gunman and his former wife.
Also wounded in the shooting was a 15-year-old girl who late last night remained in critical condition at Memorial Hermann.
The suspected gunman eventually surrendered in a standoff with police in a location away from the scene of the shooting.
