Published on April 16, 2014 by Larry Crippen

At last night’s regular session of the Huntsville City Council, Finance Director Steve Ritter said the City has a $969,000 surplus in the fiscal year’s budget.

The council tabled the interlocal agreement between the City and the County on providing the new County Jail facility utility services as an exchange for the jail housing City prisoners and taking care of jail records.

The Water Conservation and Drought Contingency Plan and the speed calming devices for River Oaks Drive were both approved.
