Cinco De Mayo & Airing Of Quilts Saturday

Starting tomorrow at ten in the morning and going on until six in the evening the Cinco de Mayo Festival will be held at the Walker County Annex Parking Lot.

The festival features the Chikawa Dancers, Ballet Folklorico, food vendors, craft vendors, children’s activities and great food.

The 12th Bi-Annual “Airing of the Quilts” will be in Huntsville’s Historic Downtown Square tomorrow from 9 to 4 They are carrying on an old tradition of springtime quilt airing.  It’s hosted by the Tall Pines Quilt Guild and supported in part by funding from the City of Huntsville. New this year is transportation between the Airing and the Folk Festival that will run throughout the day.
