Huntsville ISD Kicking Off Their Annual Toy Drive

Published on November 16, 2015 by Larry Crippen

Huntsville ISD is in full Christmas mode as the district kicked off their annual toy drive this week.  The school district accepts toys from the community then donates them to the annual KSAM and “104.9 the Hits” M*A*S*H Toy and Food Drive, December 2nd and 3rd.

HISD’s Shannon Duncan points out how the school district is involved with Radio M*A*S*H and how it helps the community . . . .

Radio M*A*S*H is in its 14th year helping local families to a merrier Christmas thanks to the many donations and volunteers that help gather gifts for families.  KSAM-FM & “104-9 the HIts” will be set up for two full days of live broadcasting on December 2nd and 3rd in the parking lot at the corner of 11th Street and Highway 75 North.  All donations go back into the local community and benefit SAAFE House, YMCA, the Huntsville ISD Social Services, Santa’s Helpers organization and Good Shepherd Mission.
